Description

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to CoStar Realty Information for a one-year subscription to CoStar_s property office/flex data images. CoStar Property is a desktop application. CoStar Property tracks 20 billion square feet of office, flex, industrial, land and office/industrial condominiums in more than 800,000 buildings in 54 markets around the United States. The data is updated every day with changes sent to clients via the Internet using an FTP or HTTP format. This database can be used to track space availability as well as statistics and trends within a given commercial real estate market. CoStar Property enables the user to print the information in any of more than 80 standardized report formats. The OCC is unaware of other systems with the same capabilities. The OCC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document is available. All proposals received with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirement within 22 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
