- Description
- The 1st Contracting Squadron, 1 CONS/LGCB, Langley AFB, VA intends to negotiate and award a contract for official travel operations at Langley AFB, VA and Seymour-Johnson AFB, NC. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training and other items as necessary to perform operations of commercial travel services at Langley AFB, VA and Seymour-Johnson AFB, NC. Both domestic and international ticketing with rental car and hotel reservation capability will be required. This acquisition will be accomplished as a commercial purchase accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 15. The performance period is one base year beginning 1 Apr 02 through 31 Mar 03, plus seven 12-month option periods beginning with the period 1 Apr 03 through 31 Mar 04. Current estimated travel volume is projected to be approximately 10 million dollars annually. Each installation may include satellite and limited satellite locations managed from a primary location. The contractor shall manage and operate the commercial travel offices in the facilities provided by the Government. This contract will contain a special, No Cost Termination for Convenience of the Government Clause for implementation of a Defense Travel System (DTS) contract for official travel. The Government will issue a single solicitation and will award one contract for official travel. Each installation will be a separate sub-CLIN to allow flexibility for the implementation of the Defense Travel System (DTS). This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible contractors may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The NAIC code is 561510, size standard $1M. Offerors will be evaluated using a Past Performance Price Trade-off. Interested parties may download the solicitation from www.eps.gov , where it is expected to be posted on or about 15 Jun 01. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. Offers shall be submitted via paper copy. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr2000.com prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Small businesses having the capability to provide this service are encouraged to participate.
