Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice, PMEL -- Sol F42650-01-R-A-019, Paulette R Crowell/PKOS/801-775-2365 A Basic with five option year, Firm Fixed Price/Award Incentive contract will be issued to procure Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) services. The contractor will provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services to perform calibration, maintenance and repair associated with the PMEL at Hill Air Force Base UT. The procurement will be accomplished by using Source Selection procedures pursuant to FAR Part 15 and all applicable FAR Part 15 Supplements, i.e. AFFARS Part 15.. The approximate issue date of the Draft Solicitation will be 07 May 01. Electronic procedures via the internet will be used for this procurement. The solicitation and all other information applicable to this procurement will be posted on web site http://contracting.hill.af.mil. As various requests and changes occur relative to this acquisition, they will be posted to this web site. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the bottom of the web site and to visit the site frequently. The Government will select the best overall offer, based upon an integrated assessment of, Mission Capability, Past Performance, Proposal Risk, and Cost / Price. Contract(s) may be awarded to the offeror who is deemed responsible in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented, whose proposal conforms to the solicitation's requirements (to include all stated terms, conditions, representations, certifications, and all other information required by Section L & M of the solicitation) and is judged, based on the evaluation factors and sub-factors to represent the best value to the Government.
