Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-01-Q-3FA819. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to perform the following: 1. Renew deck covering, floating deck panels, and isolation pads in aft berthing on USCGC Maui (WPB-1304) with a performance period of July 16 to 30, 2001 and on USCGC Matagorda (WPB-1303) with a performance period of July 30 to August 13, 2001. Place of performance for both vessels is Miami Beach, FL. Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and Technically acceptable. The proposed solicitation listed here will be awarded as part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
