Description
A-E SERVICES -- UNDER $100,000 -- MEDFORD DISTRICT OFFICE FIRE DISPATCH BUILDING Firms with individual A-E disciplines and multi-disciplinary A-E firms located in southern Oregon from Roseburg on the north to the California border on the south to Klamath Falls on the east, are requested to submit a completed SF-254, to be considered for the following project. Interested firms should submit SF-254's to: Jeff Johns, Zone Engineer, Bureau of Land Management, Medford District, 3040 Biddle Road, Medford, Oregon 97504. If SF-254 has previously been submitted to that office for solicitations (HAQ012014 of January 16, 2001; and HAQ002016 of December 22, 1999) firms are not required to re-submit unless they wish to provide updated or more specific information. Location of Project: The building site is located within the established Medford District Office building complex, 3040 Biddle Road, Medford, Oregon 97504. Scope of Services: Development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction of a 2,500 square-foot fire dispatch office building, including running all utilities, data, and phone lines to the site. Work will include surveying the site, performing soil and foundation investigation and a full range of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and landscaping design, and preparation of construction documents. The estimated construction cost is $250,000 -- $500,000. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded with estimated starting and completion dates of May 30, 2001, through September 30, 2001. A-E's will be evaluated for this project based on information contained in the SF-254's on file with the BLM, and other information as appropriate. (FAR 36.602-1 and 36.602-5). Significant Evaluation Factors include: 1) Expertise in building design and contract document preparation; 2) Past performance on similar type projects; and 3) Proximity to project site.
