Description

A solicitation will be issued for Cloth Helmet, Subassembly for Impact Resistant Flight Deck Crewman's Helmet as an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with the following quantities: 47,100 Ea MIN and 61,250 Ea MAX with two (2) Mandatory Term Options for 21,160 Ea MIN and 54,200 Ea MAX. Specification MIL-H-81735B dated 30 July 1992,Pattern dated 14 March 1994 and NSN: 8415-00-071-8785(s)are applicable. Twelve (12) deliveries are required beginning 180 days after date of award and every thirty days thereafter. All materials are to be contractor furnished. See numbered notes 1, 9, 13 and 26. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Best Value/Source Selection procedures will be utilized in making an award. Evaluation factors are as follows in descending order of importance: 1) Past Performance and 2) DLA Mentoring Agreement. Solicitation date closing of June 18, 2001 is estimated.
