Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation # FRO90010890100 is issued as a (RFQ) request for quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. Offerors shall provide a lump sum total for all effort stated in the statement of work. The NAICS Code 333415 with a 750 million dollar size standard. Recommended Brand Source of _York International_ are the only parts acceptable. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offeror- Commercial Items (Nov 1999) is incorporated by reference and applies to this solicitation; The provision 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Feb 2000) is applicable to this award. The government will award a contract resulting form this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Past Performance and (2) Price. When combined are equally as important. If the lowest priced evaluated offer is judged to have an exceptional performance risk rating, that offer represents the best value for the Government and the evaluation process stops at this point. Award shall be made to that offeror without further consideration of any other offers. In accordance with FAR 52.212-3 (April 2001) a current Offeror Representations and Certifications (Reps and Certs) must accompany offer submitted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Statement of Work Repair Chiller at Building 211 Reference: FRO90010890100 A. GENERAL: Contractor shall furnish all labor, plant, and materials to remove two existing variable speed drives and install two new variable speed drives on a York Centrifugal Chiller, Model #YTJ3K3E2-CSETMS, Serial #MRP497033. Work shall include all modifications necessary to install the new drives. Standard commercial warranty of one year is required on all parts and labor. Work shall begin within 60 days of award. B. LOCATION: Building 211 Charleston Air Force Base, SC. Contractor will coordinate schedule with Mr. Cummings at 843 963 4946 or MSgt Hughes at 843 963-5049. C. SCOPE OF WORK: Remove the two existing variable speed drives on the chiller that has one currently out of commission and replace with 2 new variable speed drives. Run a test on equipment to ensure proper operation for a minimum of 3-4 days or until calibration of the variable speed drives is accomplished, which ever comes first. After the first chiller has been tested and is operating to manufactures specifications, repeat the same procedure for the second chiller. Recommended Manufacturer is York International due to proprietary and patented rights. D. ENVIRONMENTAL: The contractor shall comply with all applicable requirements stated in the toxic substance control act of 1976, ASHRE Requirements and NEC requirements. E. SAFETY: Contractor shall comply with all OSHA safety regulations. Contractor shall clean up and dispose of all trash off base.
