Description

Project consist of removal and disposal of the existing roof and installation of a standing seam metal roof on the office building at Powell Ranger Station of the Clearwater National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho. The office building has a wood shake roof, steep pitches, and an estimated roof area of 8,000 sq. ft. Any damaged roof sheathing encountered after removal of existing roof will be replaced. Standing seam shall be 24 gauge at 0.025" thickness commercial quality galvalume or zinc coated steel sheets, color to match existing roof color of adjacent buildings. Contractor requested to provide a proposal for the installation method and materials to be used. Est. price range $25,000-$100,000. Est. start work not later than 8/1/01, 30 days contract time.
