Description

The Kootenai National Forest, Three River Ranger District is soliciting quotes for road surface and drainage improvements for Road 4429 at milepost 0.00 through milepost 0.10, and Road 4445 at milepost 18.34. Specifically, the work includes construction of rolling drainage dips, installation of surface water deflectors, placement of borrow excavation, slope and channel armoring, and installation of minor culverts including the replacement of two existing culverts. Stream diversion will be necessary. The project is estimated to begin about June 15, 2001 and the contractor shall complete the entire work not later than August 1, 2001.
