Description

Promoting Partnerships between General Services Administration, and Small, Minority and Women-Owned Businesses. On June 5, 2001, General Services Administration is participating in the Federal Procurement Conference, conducted at the University of Texas at Arlington, E.H. Hereford Center, Oak and 2nd Street, Arlington, TX. The purpose of this event is to expand procurement opportunities for Small, Minority and Women-Owened Businesses. The conference will run from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on June 5, 2001 (CST). For more information concerning the Federal Procurement Conference please call David Templeton at UTA/CTPC 817/272-5905 or Roger Flores at UTA/CTPC 817/272-5978. On the day of the conference, Small Purchase Bid Sheets/Request for Quotations will be available from the GSA Marketing Specialists, along with other General Products Center materials. Types of items available "may include" artificial plants, miscellaneous hardware, safety items, abrasive materials, recreational items, games, batteries, thread, fertilizers, grass seed, food preparation and serving items. tableware, drafting,surveying and mapping equipment, textile fabrics, miscellaneous materials handling equipment, plastic fabricated materials and household utility containers.
