Description

The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS), Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking medical record coding/validation for operation procedures and diagnoses. A list of operative procedures will be provided to the coder on a daily basis with coding/validation completed on the day of the procedure with the exception of federal holidays and weekends. The coder shall review and validate the medical record for the operation procedure which will include ICD-9-CM and CPT codes. Eligible concerns are requested to give written notification (including telephone & fax number, if available, for a point of contact) to the procuring office listed in the notice, written 15 calendar days from the date of the synopsis. Request bidding documents in writing, referencing RFP #501-47-01. Fax requests will be accepted (fax number 505/256-2894). NAICS Code 561990 applies. Solicitations will be mailed on or about 5/11/01.
