Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD), intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP), No. N66001-01-R-5040, for the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to provide software development, life cycle maintenance of software systems, hardware design and integration, prototyping, and evaluation in support of the E-2C Airborne Tactical Data System (ATDS), a legacy system. Requirements include an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the E-2C program operational requirements, system design specifications, test requirements, interaction with related programs, and expertise in software/hardware development guidelines and documentation as specified in DOD-STD-1679A and DOD-STD-2167A. This will be a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541330, and the small business size standard is $20M. The period of performance for the proposed contract is three years, plus a single two-year option, for a total of five years from the date of contract award. The estimated level of effort is 58,560 hours per year for a total of 292,800 hours, including the option period.
