Description

The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Pointwise, Inc. for software maintenance. This procurement is for renewal and maintenance of six Right to Use and four Perpetual licenses for Gridgen modeling and gridding software. Gridgen is recognized by users of the H/HTC as an essential modeling and gridding tool for Computational Fluid Dynamics applications. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award is on or about 5/14/01. See numbered Notes 1 and 22.
