- Description
- Install Government furnished transformer, including oil containment and deluge fire system. Connect transformer to 15kV bus, including provide and install 15kV disconnect switch, reactor and breaker. Provide and install 4160V breakers. Provide and install power cabling and control wiring. Project includes high voltage electrical work, concrete cutting and coring, plumbing for fire system, and general work inside an operating hydroelectric power plant. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) in CD-ROM format only. EBS CD-ROM compact disks with plans and specs will be available on or about 21 May 2001 at no charge per set. The disks will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis until supply is exhausted. Requests must be made by completing the form at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. No phone or fax requests accepted. When you register, please do so as a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. After the solicitation is issued, compact disks will be mailed to registered firms. The disks may also be picked up from Seattle District's Contracting Division located at 4735 East Marginal Way South, Seattle, WA Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Register at the web site at least 7 calendar days before the issue date to assist in having an adequate number of disks made. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and the completion period is 300 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this project is 234920, which is matched to SIC Code 1623. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
