Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request For Quotation, # F32604-00-Q0056. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235940. The size standard is $11,500,000 average annual gross revenue. (v) Items to be Procured: All personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perorm all work required to remove one 5000 barrel abandoned aboveground fuel storage tank and underground piping. Please ensure that you are registered in CCR and that it is current. If not registered please register at www.ccr2000.com. All information for the subject solicitation is available at www.eps.gov, no paper solicitations or specifications will be made available. L/I 01: Accomplish the demolition of fuel tank. (vi) The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all work required to remove one 5000 barrel abandoned aboveground fuel storage tank and underground piping as defined in the attached performance work statement (PWS) at Minot AFB, ND. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. See attachment for PWS. (vii) Services to be performed not later than 20 May 01. (viii) Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors_Commercial Items (AUG 1998) is hereby incorporated by reference with no addenda to the provision. (ix) Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors. (x) Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items (May 1999), with quote. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items (May 1999), applies to this acquisition with no addenda to this clause. (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (May 1999), applies to this acquisition along with the following FAR clauses cited in the clause: (12) 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246).
