Description

Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for constructions of the Recapitalization Storage Facility at the Anniston Army Depot. Work will include but not limited to the following work: (a) Site preparation and excavation new building foundation and concrete. (b) New building concrete foundation and aprons. (c) New concrete slab. (d) New pre-engineered metal building. (e) New roll-up doors and personnel door. (f) Painting as required in Section 9A of the Technical Provisions. (g) New water line from existing line, complete with sprinkler system as per NFPA, and a fire alarm reporting system. (h) New electrical service, electrical lighting, and power system for building as show on contract drawings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233310. The size standard is $27.5 Million. Completion time is 270 days after notice to proceed. This project is unrestricted. Estimated Request for Quotation issue date is 14 May 2001. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Bids must be submitted electronically as indicated in the solicitation. CAUTION: This Solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
