Description

FISC Phila intends to acquire on a full and open competition basis for security/oil booms to be used in support of the US Navy's Fleet Week Celebration to be held in New York CIty starting 23 May thur 30 May 01. The successful offeror/s will deliver, install an oil boom that will be placed at pier 88 and 86 in Manhattan and the Old Home Pier located in Staten Island. The Boom at pier 88 will extend from the north end of pier 90 running out at least 75 feet turning south and attaching on the south end of Pier 86. The Boom at Staten Island will start directly in front of the fire boat and attaching to the pier at the Quay Wall. Additional price option will be included for this configuration starting at a distance of 200 feet increments of 100 feet up to a maximum of 400 ft. The successful vendor will remove all the boom by 6:00 am on 30 May 01. An award of a firm fixed price commerical items purchase order will result from this acquisition effort.
