Description

This modification is being issued to include the synopsis that did not register at the FedBizOpps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on April 24, 2001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-23. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is 100% Small Business Set- aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3861 (NAIC is 333315) and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. An award will be made on a firm-fixed price basis. All products shall be of a brand name or equal (FAR 52.211-6) or quickset products. All items described in this announcement will be awarded on an aggregate basis (all or none). The "Brand Name or Equal" product shall meet or exceed the following salient characteristics: (1) Quickset Samson Series Tripod, 50 each of part number 4-74420-7, microwave tripod with four inch spikeable foot pads, 35lb load capacity with 60" maximum spread, weight 15lbs, head movement can spring from 40 degree up to 90 degree down; (2) Quickset Husky Series Tripod, 50 each of part number 5- 95819-4 (QHT-31). A lightweight tripod with a 12lb load capacity and a fixed camera plate. This tripod has a fluid head type and can tilt 60 degree upward and 90 degree downward with 360 degree pan capability; (3) Quickset Husky Series Tripod, 50 each of part number 5-95579-8 (QKTH-17). A medium duty tripod with a 17lb load capacity. This tripod is outfitted with a fixed camera plate and a photo head with individual lockable head movements on three axes; (4) Quickset Husky Series Monopod, 10 each of part number 5-18486-6 (QKP-1). A medium duty monopod with a 17lb load capacity. This item can extend to a maximum height of 72" and weighs only 2.3lb; (5) Quickset Pan/Tilt, 5 each of part number 7-07035-B (QPT-20XD). A light duty pan/tilt with a 20lb load capacity. This item is weatherproof and can be utilized in an inverted position. This model has a 435 degree pan rotation and built in heater; (6) Quickset Arctic Heater Kit for the 7-07035- B, 5 each of part number 7-07620-1. Destination-FOB, to Quantico, VA 22135. To ensure that sufficient information is available, the vendor shall furnish as part of their quotation, technical capabilities, pricing, all descriptive data (such as drawings, illustrations) necessary for the purchasing activity to determine wether the product meets the minimum requirement.
