Description

Provide home medical equipment services for beneficiaries of Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers located in Atlanta and Dublin, Georgia; and Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, in accordance with the solicitation specifications and provisions. Contract performance will begin approximately August 1, 2001. The contract will include the base and four (4) renewable option years. The NAICS code for this procurement is 8112-19 with a size standard of $5.0 million. All offerors must submit technical and price proposals for evaluation. The technical evaluation criteria include past performance and business plan, quality assurance and personnel qualifications. This procurement is unrestricted. Multiple contract awards may be made from this solicitation. The successful contractor(s) must be JCAHO accredited. Anticipated issue date is May 21, 2001.
