Description

The USDA Forest Service intends to award a sealed bid contract for window replacement project at our Parsons, WV office. A brief description of the project is to remove existing wood casement windows (22 units -- sizes vary) from the Parsons Office facility; replace these windows with Energy Star labeled vinyl-clad wood awning windows complete, including restoring interior finishes. Remove two exterior 6-0 x 7-0 door and sidelite assemblies; replce with new metal-frame store front door assemblies. Solicitation is expected to be issued by May 16, 2001; however, if this date slips the RFP will be due 30 days from date sol is issued. Bonding/Irrevocable Letter of credit is required for all bids over $25,000. Estimated price range is $25,000 -- $100,000.
