Description
This is a sources sought synopsis for written information only from small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 442210 applies. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation available at this time. Responses shall not exceed 20 pages and standard company brochures are not desired. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is performing a market survey to identify small businesses that can provide carpet tiles, approximately 5185 square yards to be installed at EPA's New Computer Facility in Research Triangle Park, NC. Carpet tiles must have semi-releaseable adhesive that is EPA approved, antimicrobial, provides a very low VOC rate and be on the "Greenlist". Reclamation and recycling of the entire product is essential. At this time the Government is considering a lease with maintenance agreement for a base period of 12 months with 4 twelve month options. Responses must address their ability to offer this type of arrangement as well as possible outright purchase. The small business must provide labor, supervision, repair tools, materials transportation, installation and carpet maintenance during the lease term. Small businesses that can meet the listed criteria are invited to submit, in writing, sufficient information, including lease terms within the page limitation (20 pages), which demonstrates their ability to fulfill this requirement. Responses, shall include the vendor's business status (e.g small, small dis-advantaged, minority owned, 8(a), etc.) and should be mailed to the following address: U.S. EPA Attn: Cary Grigsby (MD-33), Contracts Management Division, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711.
