Description

The 10th Air Base Wing, Operational Contracting Office issues this synopsis to conduct market research and to determine if sources are capable of satisfying the USAF Academy's requirement with a commercial item for Portable Chemical Toilet rental, service, supplies, and maintenance. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that portable toilet services are performed at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado, Farish Memorial Park (approximately 35 miles northwest of the Academy), Saylor Park Training Area (approximately 9 miles from Farish Memorial Park), and the Ellicott Auxiliary Airfield (approximately 23 miles east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The USAF Academy's requirement is for the rental of approximately 130 units and duration of rental may vary from 1-30 days. In addition, the requirement consists of service and maintenance and repair of 25 Government owned toilets. The contractor shall provide emergency services as required. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 562991 and the business size standard is $5M. If this NAICS is used in error or, if another NAICS is available for use, please advise. Please provide information concerning commercial Performance Work Statement, Statement of Work or Objective preparation and contents; commercial quality control and surveillance practices; current commercial work efforts to include current contact names and numbers; business size standards; and any other pertinent information concern the requirement's commercial applicability. A site visit of the facility can be arranged by requesting one in writing.
