Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue, on a sole-source basis under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, an order with Allen Systems Group, Incorporated (ASG) of Naples, Florida for the annual renewal and maintenance of Journal Manager Software, Group 150, Non-tiered, Site License, installed at SSA headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. The annual maintenance shall include technical support and upgrade subscription. To the Government_s knowledge, ASG is the only known source that can provide the required license and maintenance, as the software is proprietary thereto and not available through dealers or other third parties. Any responsible firm that feels it has the capability to provide the software and maintenance to SSA may write to the referenced Contract Specialist. This is neither a request for quotations nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. All responses must be received by May 7, 2001. Respondents should refer to SSA-3303-01-0775. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. If no affirmative written responses are received by the due date indicating that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Allen Systems Group, Inc. for the requirements stated above. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information received. Please direct all questions in writing, no verbal questions will be entertained. FAXED RESPONESE WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED.
