Description

The Postal Service intends to extend the existing Information Systems Support Services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract #102590-98-B-H009 with Litton/PRC (PRC). The current contract, which expires September 2001, will be extended to September, 2002, and the contract maximum will be increased from $232 Million to $282 Million. PRC provides supplemental technical and professional support to all Information Business Systems Solutions Centers across the country. This action is being taken to allow the Postal Service sufficient time to develop a Statement of Work so that this work can be competed in the future. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. A determination by the USPS not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the USPS. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
