Synopsis No. 01-025: RFP SP4400-01-R-017, Service Contract for all fees, labor, packaging, tranportation and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous waste, including compressed gas cylinder (CGC) items and PCB items, located at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington. Anticipated date for issue is o/a 15 may 01 and the solicitation will only be issued on the world wide web (WWW). The web site address is "http://www.drms.dla.mil:. The procurement is unrestricted and proposals will be due approximately 29 jun 01. This will be a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of eighteen (18) months and two, 18-month options will be included. Performance will be requested on task orders issued against the basic contract. Special requirements: Prospective contractors or subcontractors must comply with all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials and environmental protection.
