- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation's Yakima Field Office, Roza Project Washington, has a requirement for the furnishing and testing of a minimum of four transformers with accessories. The four transformers are as follows: three each NEW single phase, 150kVA, 34.5kV Delta/2.4kV Delta transformers and one each NEW three phase, 300 kVA, 34.5kV Delta/480V Delta transformer. Our RFQ will have options for us to add transformers one at a time until we expend the available funding or order a total of 28 transformers. The transformers will be delivered to the Yakima Field Office, 1917 Marsh Road, Yakima WA 98907. A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued via the Internet in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format in May 2001 on our PN Region Contracts Group website at www.pn.usbr.gov/contracts. Reclamation reserves the right to revert to CD-ROM or hard copy issuance if the website becomes inoperable. If posted on-line, offerors are responsible for checking the website or contacting Reclamation to determine if Amendments to the RFQ have been issued. If issued on CD-ROM or paper, paper copies of amendments will be provided. This RFQ will be issued under Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for Commercial Items and using Simplified Procedures (see FAR 13). The RFQ will request offerors to submit brief technical proposals detailing: the offeror's proposed schedule; the offeror's proposed methods for providing the equipment and literature which describes the companies capabilities (technical capability); past performance information demonstrating successful performance of this type of requirement; and, other information. Offers will be evaluated on their proposed technical capability, experience, successful past performance of similar items, schedule, and price/price-related factors. The Government reserves the right to revise the evaluation criteria. Each offeror is responsible for reviewing the RFQ document for specific evaluation information. This RFQ will be awarded based on the best value to the Government. This requirement is a small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification Code is 335311 and the size standard is 750 employees. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer, which we will consider. Offerors may request the RFQ by registering at our website, or in writing at the Bureau of Reclamation, 1150 N. Curtis Rd., Attn: PN3700, Boise ID 83706-1234, by FAX at (208) 378-5108, or by email to dlarrondo@pn.usbr.gov -- requests should reference the RFQ number and project name. If the RFQ is published via the Internet, offerors who've requested the RFQ will be added to the planholder's list, which will also be published at the website. If the RFQ is issued as a CD-ROM, there's no charge for first copy of the CD and additional copies will be available for a non-refundable fee of $25 per CD. Telephone requests for the RFQ will not be accepted. See Numbered Note 1.
