Description

Contractor shall provide a truck size side down draft paint spray booth, Air Filtration Co., Inc's Model No. SDDP3014DT brand name or equal. Contractor shall provide detailed product specifications if supplying an equivalent. Paint booth is constructed of 18 gage steel panels with a galvanized finish, inside and out. The panels shall use interlocking flanges for a sturdy, airtight joint. Panels are joined with 1/4" self drilling TEK screws for easy assembly. To ensure a dust free environment in the paint booth, the panels shall be sealed with acrylic latex caulking. A 14 gage angle shall be used to anchor the paint booth to the floor. Dimensions: inside 16' wide x 16' high x 30' deep; outside 18'8" wide x 18'2" high x 30'4" deep. The paint booth shall be a drive through configuration with 2 set(s) of drive-in doors which provide a clear opening of 12' wide x 15' high. Doors shall be made of 18 gage steel. Door frames shall be made of 1/4" steel angle. The locking mechanism shall use a cam lock to ensure an airtight seal. The paint booth shall have 1 access door, 3'wide x 7' high, with 18" x 13" observation window. Doors shall be made of 18 gage steel. Door frames shall be made of 14 gage steel angle. The locking mechanism shall use a Brixon latch to ensure an airtight seal and to provide explosion venting to comply with national fire codes. Two each 34" AFC exhaust fan(s) shall be used to pull the over spray from the paint booth. Total CFM: 21,600. Fans are tubeaxial, belt driven with non-sparking polypropylene blades. A streamlined belt tunnel isolates the motor, drives and bearings from the airstream. Two each GE 2 HP O.T.D.P. 230-460 VAC 3 Phase motors shall be used to drive the exhaust fans. Motors shall be energy efficient industrial motors that meet or exceed EPACT energy standards. Fourteen each AFC 4'light fixtures with electronic ballasts and 4 G.E. Starcoat color corrective tubes, 4 each LDPI Class I Division II 4'light fixtures with electronic ballasts and 4 G.E. Starcoat color corrective tubes. 12' of 34" diameter exhaust shall be provided with roof flashings, storm collar, and up-flow type weather cap with back draft damper. Exhaust stack shall be made of 20 gage galvanized steel with crimpled ends for easy assembly. 30 each 20" x 20" exhaust cells with 30 each 20" x 20" AFC dry fiberglass type paint arrestors. One set of intake filters AFC 36" x 54" L3654 Laminar III. The following accessories shall be included: 1 each air solenoid valve to interlock the compressed air for the painters paint gun with the exhaust fan, 1 each manometer to monitor the porosity of the exhaust filters, 3 each door limit switches to disable the exhaust fans when any one door is opened, and door gaskets, caulking to seal the booth, assembly screws and assembly drawings. One each heated air make-up units Model DFM2000. This air make-up unit is designed to maintain 80 degrees F booth temperature above 0 degrees F outside temperature in the paint mode, and 160 degrees F booth temperature above 0 degrees F outside temperature in the cure mode. Power Flame gun type burner rated at 2,499,000 btuh. Includes: Honeywell flame safe guard control, UV scanner, electric spark ignitor, ignition transformer, pilot and main gas valves, pilot and main gas regulators, leak test valve, combustion blower with automatice inlet louvers, on/off switch, indicator lights, lockout alarm bell, control cabinet with terminal strip for easy servicing. Fan 1 each 42" AFC intake fan rated at 21,600 CFM. Fans are tubeaxial, belt driven, with non-sparking polypropylene high temperature blades. A streamlined belt tunnel isolates the motor, drives and bearings from the airstream. Motor -- 1 each 7.5 HP GE O.T.D.P. 230-460 Vac 3 Phase is used to drive the intake fan. Motors are energy efficient industrial motors that meet or exceed EPACT energy standards. Ducting -- 9' of intake duct with 90 degree elbow to connect air make-up unit with paint booth. Pre-filters: 10 each AFC PF2050 Pre-filters to filter the outside air prior to entering the air make-up unit, 1 each AFC 700D control panel to control the paint booth and air make-up unit and shall include Omron digital thermostat and booth temperature display; timers for flash, cure, and cool times; lighting controls, Allan Bradley IEC motor contractors with solid state electronic overloads, power distribution block, fuses, control circuit breakers, terminal strip for easy wiring, control switches and indicator lights. The following accessories shall be included: high temperature limit switch, air flow switch, service disconnect, support platform, roof flashing, and assembly drawing.
