- Description
- Modifying the existing pumping plant C2.0R to prepare for control and monitoring from a future centralized Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System. The work consists of removing the existing outdoor plant control lineup with the associated concrete slab, replacing three 2,400 Volt motors with three 480 volt motors, installing a new slab and control building, installing new control equipment in the new control building, and interfacing to the existing plant equipment and pump units. NAISC Code: 23499, Small Business Size Standard is 27.5 million. Site Visit: A pre-bid conference and site tour will be held on May 24, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. by the Bureau of Reclamation. The tour will begin in Reclamation's Farmington Construction Office conference room, located at 2200 Bloomfield Highway, Farmington, New Mexico. It is anticipated that the actual tour will last about 4 hours and cover approximately 20 miles. The area of the Government site tour is accessible by two-wheel drive vehicles. Bid Opening: The bids will be opened at Reclamation's Farmington Construction Office on June 12, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required. This solicitation is full and open competition. Price Range: The estimated price range for the work is $100,000 to $500,000. Completion Date: The work shall be completed and ready for use by March 1,2003. Indian Preference: Compliance with the Indian Preference and Indian Preference programs is of the utmost importance. The goal for employment of Navajo Tribal members is 100 percent.
