Description

The Commander requires all labor, management, supervision, technical, services, tools, parts, supplies, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary to perform testing, comprehensive maintenance, repairs, alterations and inspection of the Overhead Roll-up and Storefront Sliding Doors at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The work will be accomplished by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract. The contract term is for a base period of one (1) year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for two (2) additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 36 months. The applicable North American Industry Classification is 23551, size standard $11.5M. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will only be available via the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site (http://esol.navfac.navy.mil). The IFB is planned to be posted on or about July 06, 2001. The Bid Opening Date shall be at least 30 days after the IFB is posted to the E-Sol web site. All contractors must register on the E-Sol web site before downloading the IFB to ensure receipt of Amendments, Attachments/Drawings, and all other information issued regarding this requirement.
