Description

This procurement will provide emergency, time critical and non-time critical cleanup services for EPA Region X for cleanup of oil, petroleum and hazardous substances. Response actions shall be conducted under such federal response legislation as: Section 104 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA), Subtitle I of RCRA, as amended and the Clean Water Act as amended by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, the Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act, the National Contingency Plan, 40 CFR Part 300, with other Applicable or Relevant and Appropriate Requirements. Contract shall provide all necessary cleanup equipment, personnel, materials and other resources within a minimum of 6 hours or longer as requested, to accomplish containment, countermeasures, cleanup, mitigation, restoration and disposal of oil and hazardous substances. The period of performance is anticipated to be October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with four one-year option periods. Region X encompasses the four state area: Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska. A Time & Materials, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is contemplated. The estimated value of this contract is $30,000,000.00. Technical proposals and oral presentations will be required. All responsible sources may submit an offer and will be considered.
