Description

The Naval Surface Warefare Center, Carderock Division in involved in hydrodynamic innovations that expand the safety aspects of submarines. Specificaly the SEAWOLF and VIRGINIA Class types. These innovations include Design, Propulsor, and Stern Appendage Model Concept Investigation programs. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Shoaff Consulting Services. The personnel employed by Shoaff have many years of experience in NAVSEA submarine program support, and have participated in numerious SEAWOLF and VIRGINIA class design projects. For these services the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may submit a statement of capabilities, in writing no later than 15 days from the issue date of this notice. (see Note 22)
