Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a purchase order for a contractor to furnish and install General Electric AK series circuit breakers and substructure. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This requirement is issued on an unrestricted basis. NAICS code is 335313, size standard is 750 employees shall apply. Request for Quotation (RFQ) SSA-RFQ-01-0202 will be available for downloading on or about April 27, 2001 from the Federal Procurement web site at www.fedbizops.gov.
