Description

The work covered by this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all layout,survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools,appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and performing all operations necessary to reroute electrical feed to (UPS) System. Electrical installation is required to provided UPS backup power to all avionics equipment in rooms 105, 116, 117, and 119 in building 5005 located at 542 2nd Street, Dyess AFB, Texas. All work to be accomplished under this contract shall consist of the following: 1. Reroute electrical feed from existing MDP Panel in North Mechanical Room to UPS Bypass. 2. Install 600 amp feeder from UPS Bypass Panel back to North Mechanical Room to new 800 amp Governement Furnished Square D distribution panel. 3. Pour raised concrete pad for new distribution panel. 4. Reroute existing feeders for transformers' TA, TD, and panel PDC from existing MDP Panel to new distribution panel. 5. Remove existing 3-inch conduit on south end of building that is exposed and is no longer needed. 6. Patch all holes and seal all conduit penetrations. Patch all roof penetrations with approved sealant. 7. All electrical work must be in accordance with 1999 National Electric Code. The estimated contract magnitude is less than $25,000. The proposed procurement is unrestricted and all eligible offerors may submit an offer. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Lack of registration in the CCR will render an offeror_s proposal ineligible. If you are not registered in the CCR you can register at www.ccr2000.com. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 233320. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 20 Mar 01, on www.fedbizopps.gov.
