Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, Marine Operations Center (Atlantic), 439 West York Street, Norfolk, VA has a requirement for a three bedroom, 2 bath mobile home (house trailer), 1200 sq. ft. minimum. The mobile home is required to be furnished with the following items: Each bedroom is to include 1 double bed, 1 night stand,1 lamp, 1 chest of drawers, and 1 clock/radio. The dining room is to include 1 table and 4 chairs. The living room is to include 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 1 end table, 1 lamp, and 1 arm chair. The appliances to be included are 1 microwave oven, 1 electric oven and range, 1 refrigerator, 1 washer, 1 dryer, and 1 television. Trailer is to be set up in accordance with Norfolk city code to include connection to public utilities. Place to be delivered is 500 Front Street, Norfolk, VA. Delivery is desired by May 31, 2001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations should be submitted by May 2, 2001 to the U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/Eastern Admin Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, 200 World Trade Center, Room 209, Norfolk, VA 23510-1624, ATTN: Teresa Watson. Quotations may be faxed to: (757) 441-3786 or 3735. Reference Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 01-2159 on your quotation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition, there are no addenda to the provision. Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be submitted with your offer. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive offeror who can meet the specific requirements contained in the CBD announcement and is the most advantageous to the government considering price and other price related factors. Award will be made on May 4, 2001. Numbered Note 1 applies.
