Description

DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and Far Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number M62974-01-Q-2011 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System 421850. The Small Business Standard is 500 employees. FOB point is destination, MCAS Yuma AZ. Contract line items are as follows: Item 0001 Personnel Accountability System, Grace Industries, Inc. or equal, 1 each. The system must be able to provide the following automatically and continuously: (a) the identities of personnel operating on the emergency incident scene; (b) an on/off status; (c) the identity of firefighters in alarm; (d) identify when firefighters have not checked in; (e) vocal message and alarm warning lights indicate the mode of operation; (f) meet or exceed a one mile range; (g) meet or exceed the requirements of NFPA 1982 (98 edition). Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Evaluation will be based on technically acceptable, lowest price.
