Description

The Government intends to conduct a procurement for Inventory, Storage, Retrieval, and Maintenance Services in support of the Rocket Systems Launch Program. The Government has been contracting with Boeing for these services. These services will be required at Vandenberg AFB, CA (VAFB), Freeport Center, Clearfield, UT, and Hill AFB, UT (HAFB). SMC/TE is contemplating a firm-fixed price contract (with award fee) and a period of performance of a one-year basic contract and four option years. A solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 1 Jun 00. Draft documents will be made available for review and comment via the World Wide Web at http://www.te.plk.af.mil/contracts/newinfo.cfm under the heading Storage Services. This will be the primary location to find the latest program information. The entire draft solicitation will also be made available at http://www.eps.gov. All responsible sources interested in this notice may submit a statement of capability (SOC) which will be considered. The Government will not recognize costs associated with the submission of SOCs. Comments are encouraged on all draft documents and may be submitted to Capt. Glen Willis at the information below. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only.
