Description

This is a synopsis for services non-personal issued by 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE. This document was prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is a request for quotations, A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for Services for the removal of Epoxy Floor Coating and the application of Epoxy Floor Primer . The requirement includes: 1. Using the tenant Eco-Prep Resurfacer Machine, concrete grinders and edge sanding equipment remove existing epoxy coating to the highest degree possible. This process will go up to perimeter walls with sanders but may not totally remove all the existing coating within three inches out from the wall. Machine scrub surface with Tennant #407 Acid Wash to remove concrete particles and allow to dry. 2. Apply Tennant Eco-MPE Epoxy Primer in standard selected color by owner in the following thickness: 10 mils thick. Allow primer coat to dry then sand, wash and allow to dry once again before topcoating. 3. Apply final coat of Tennant Eco-HPS Topcoat urethane coating in standard selected color by owner at the rate of 500 square feet per gallon. This procedure will be the same in either option. SIC Code is 7349; this solicitation is issued as 100 percent small business set-aside. SBA Size Standard is $12.0 million. Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by 11 May, 2001 at 4:00 pm CST. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database by 10 May, 2001 will make a bidder ineligible for award. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Service Wage Rates apply to this acquisition and copies will be available upon request. QUOTES MUST LIST ALL POSITIONS THAT WILL BE UTILIZED FROM THE SERVICE WAGE RATES. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. Offerors shall include a complete copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the offer.
