Description

Perform failure verification tests, repair and recertification on MITA-5 GYROS in support of the TRIDENT II (D-5) MK-6 Guidance System, and production of GYROS subassemblies and spares. There will be options for additional failure verification and repair and recertification during each of the fiscal years 2003 and 2004. There will also be an option for shutdown of the GYRO repair line. Procurement will be issued to Kearfott Guidance & Navigation, Inc., Wayne, NJ, the designer and manufacturer of these GYROS and the only company with the unique capability to repair them.
