Description

This is a notice to advise Industry of a Request for Proposal (RFP) of a U. S. Army requirement for approximately 1,100 each Upgrade Kits for EPLR's RT's. These kits will allow the RT's procured in Program Years 1 and 2 to be fully functional with RT's procured in Program Years 3 and 4. A sole source acquisition to Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), Fullerton, CA., is proposed for this Acquisition pursuant to FAR 6302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Government does not posess adaquate technical data to define the performance or interface requirements for the EPLRS Equipment which precludes a competitive acquisition. RSC is the developer, manfacturer and current supplier of the various EPLRS configurations. This notice is published for informational purposes and subcontracting oppoertunities only. See numbered Notes 22 and 26.
