- Description
- The work includes providing all labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, and management necessary to provide and secure a Tenant Relocation from Building 311 to 512 for the Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, California. The work includes alterations to existing building for office and lab functions to include modifications to walls, doors, floor coverings, paint, electrical power distribution systems, HVAC ductwork, coils and controls and equipment, relocation, compressed air, gas and liquid nitrogen distribution piping, minor plumbing modifications, sprinkler heads, and incidental related work. HVAC equipment and nitrogen piping are to be removed from Building 311 and relocated to Building 512. The work under this contract requires special attention to the scheduling and conduct of the work in connection with existing operations. Work must be done in a manner that minimizes disruption to production schedule. This is a firm fixed price construction contract. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 -- $500,000. Anticipated performance time is approximately 180 calendar days. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23332 and the Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 million. All responsible offers, received on time, shall be considered by the agency. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must register as planholders on this website (http://esol.navfac.navy.mil) in order to receive a copy of plans and specifications. The official plan holder's list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will NOT be provided by the Government. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, address, area code, phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, or plan room), e-mail address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments made to the solicitation. The Plans and Specifications will be available on the website on or about May 1, 2001. The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Award will not be made until this requirement is met.
