Description

The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations for the repair and improvements for the existing swimming beach retaining wall and the existing boat ramp at the Big Larch Campground. Work involves installation of a blind drain to stabilize the ground behind the retaining wall, installation of a geocell membrane to stabilize the beach front of the wall, and replenishment of the beach sand which has washed away from the front of the wall, also reattach and add concrete planks. The worksite is located on the Seeley Lake Ranger District, Lolo National Forest, Missoula County, Montana. Issue date, approximately April 27, 2001. A Pre-bid Tour is scheduled for May 8, 2001. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
