Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice for Custodial and Related Services: The General Services Administration, Mid-Atlantic Region, Chesapeake Field Office located in Baltimore, Maryland, requires custodial and related services at five (5) federal facilities in Baltimore County, Maryland. Extensive experience on projects of similar scope and complexity is required of both the firm and its proposed On-Site Project Manager and Supervisor. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to perform all required services through a combination of in-house staff or qualified subcontractors. Award will be made on the basis of greatest value source selection. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this procurement is 561720. This procurement is exclusively set-aside for small business concerns whose average annual receipts for the past three years do not exceed $12 million. The solicitation will be available on or about May 1, 2001. Services are expected to commence on or about September 1, 2001, and it is the intent of the Government to award a contract with a base period of one year with the possibility of multiple options. A site visit will be scheduled with a date and time provided in the solicitation package. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available only electronically to all interested parties at the Internet site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies will be available. Contractors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the Internet site for possible amendments or additional information. All contractors downloading the solicitation shall notify this office in writing (either by electronic mail or facsimile) in order to be placed on the plan holder's list.
