Description

This announcement is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to an approved sole source contractor in accordance with AFFAR 5313.106-1(a). The sole source contractor is Pasco Scientific, 10101 Foothills Blvd., Roseville, CA, and the requirement is for 750 Interface Physics Bundles utilized by the Physics Department at the USAF Academy. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the required interface bundles. However, any contractors who believe that they have the capability to provide the necessary interface modules may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability that addresses all the customers requirements. The following are minimum customer requirements per bundle: ScienceWorkshop 750 interface with built-in function generator; ScienceWorkshop and DataStudio Software on CD; support documentation on CD; Experiment Library_240 + experiments on CD; Volume I Physics Labs with Computers Student Workbook; Volume II Physics Labs with Computers Student Workbook; and, Quick Installation Poster. Offers are due by NLT 3:00 MST on 23 Apr 2001. If no favorable offers are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source.
