Description

This following are a list of questions and answers in reference to Solicitation #F04864-01-0120. If you have any additional questions, please send them TSgt Watkins IAW solicitation notice. Q1: The existing system has a Launch switch. Is this function to remain? A1: The existing system does have a Launch switch, however, the new system will not have this function. Instead, it will have the three configurations detailed in the SOW, Generator Backup Mode on Bus 1, Generator Backup Mode on Bus 2, and Manual Switching Mode (Maintenance Mode). Q2: The existing manual control prevents closing both main breakers and the tiebreaker at the same time. It also limits when the generator breakers can be closed. Are these safety features to be removed? A2: These safety features need to remain in the system. The purpose of the Manual Switching Mode is to be able to reconfigure the breakers in the event of the logic controls not functioning properly.
