Description

Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace the water supply line to the clinic and replace existing yard fire hydrants at Group Astoria. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: (a) Replace five existing dry barrel fire hydrants, isolating valves and pipe spool sections with new; (b) Replace the existing potable water supply main serving the clinic/dispensary and administration buildings. Connect the new 3" PVC main to the existing 6" FW main. Disconnect existing 2" services to clinic/dispensary and administration buildings. Abandon in place the existing 3" cast iron (C.I.) main and reconnect existing services to the new 3" PVC main; (c) Hydrostatically test all new pipe sections before connecting to the existing main; (d) Disinfect the new water piping and joints of existing water piping affected by Contractor's operations before connecting to the existing main; and (e) Flush the yard mains by flusing the last hydrant on the mains where hydrants are replaced. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 234190.
