Description

Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install floating docks at U.S. Coast Guard Aids-to-Navigation Team (ANT) Kennewick, WA. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (a) Remove floating docks 1, 2, 3, and 4. Remove and demolish docks 1 and 2. Tie docks 3 and 4 off to the front pier via 1/2" or greater diameter mooring line. Docks 3 and 4 are not to be attached to the pier via their existing pile hoop guides; (b) Demolish the existing concrete pad; (c) Remove aluminum gangway; (d) Provide and install five new steel truss floating docks with steel grating decks. The new floating docks are to include pile hoop guides and cleats (e) Fabricate and install a 3000-psi reinforced concrete pad with protruding anchor bolts. (f) Relocate aluminum, gangway; (g) Demolish and remove the existing wooden handrail leading to existing floating dock "2" and surrounding the existing concrete pad. Demolish the existing concrete steps as needed to relocate aluminum gangway; and (h) Provide two fiberglass life-ring cabinets. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for the procurement is 234120. Size standards is $27.5 NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
