- Description
- The purpose of this contract is for the take down of existing modular free standing 5 foot office partitions and floor to ceiling panels, the movement or addition of government owned office partitions of panels into a new configuration according to the provided drawings, the necessary electrical powering of both types of wall dividers (partitions and panels) using electrical components provided, and the hard wiring of partitions and panels from electrical sources to provide power to electrical outlets as necessary. Government owned 5-foot free standing office partitions consist of sections 4 foot, 2 foot and 18 inches normal width. Government owned floor to ceiling wall panels 9 foot high consist of sections 4 foot wide, or have been cut down to adjust for fit. Included in the floor to ceiling wall panels is one panel with door and door frame which will be considered as one panel. Also included in this contract will be the construction and finishing of 2 each sheet rock walls, (metal studs using 5/8 inch sheet rock). These 2 each walls will be constructed where the floor to ceiling wall panels were removed. The wall texture and color will match adjacent sheet rock walls and will contain the same number of electrical outlets which were located in the wall panels. As part of this new sheet rock wall construction, there will be a requirement for the contractor to provide a 36 inch by 84 inch solid core oak door with steel frame to match existing doors and hardware. The work will be done at the Provo Area Office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 302 East 1850 South, Provo, Utah 84606. Work is to be accomplished only on weekends.
