Description
CURLEW JOB CORPS CENTER WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, The Forest Service seeks proposals for re-construction of a wastewater treatment plant. The Center's old system is a septic/drain-field system that has malfunctioned. The new system shall maintain the existing septic tanks and includes new head-works construction (manholes, bar screens, flow monitor, piping), a two-cell partial mix aerated lagoon with pump station and all electrical components, and three drain-fields. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining normal wastewater activity for the Center during construction through temporary disposal methods that has been approved by the Dept. of Ecology. The project site is located about 15 miles west of Curlew, Ferry County, North Eastern Washington, along the Kettle River. The Colville National Forest will administer the contract on behalf of the Center. A site visit will be scheduled. The contract time is 160 calendar days estimated start date of August 1, 2001. Estimated price range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. NAICS code is 234910 with small business size standard of $27.5 mil.
