Description

The 10th Air Base Wing Contracting Flight, USAF Academy CO., is issuing a Request For Quotation (RFQ) for brand name athletic gear as specified in the attached RFQ (Attachment 1 to this posting). Examples of artwork for silk screen/embroidery are at Attachment 2. The RFQ number is F05611-01-T-0265. This solicitation is for commercial type products and is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-24. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotation. No written RFQ shall be issued. This solicitation is approved for small business set-aside, and is also approved for the specified brand names only. Any _equal_ brand offers will be considered not acceptable. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Basis for Award: The Government will award a purchase order to the contractor offering the best overall value to the Government, price and other factors considered. In addition to price, past performance will be used to evaluate offers where past performance is significantly more important than price. Evaluation of past performance does not require the creation or existence of a formal data base, but may be based on such information as the Contracting Officer_s knowledge, previous work experience, customer surveys, etc. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is 315299, and the size standard is 500. Offers are due by 3:00 MST on 23 April 2001. Quotes must be valid for 60 calendar days after close of solicitation. All attachments used to make up the RFQ will be incorporated at time of award.
