Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, intends to negotiate a sole source consignment agreement contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, with Alcon Laboratories for intraocular lenses in a variety of types and models. The period of the agreement will be June 1, 2001 through May 31, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:30PM, May 14, 2001.
